like this artist dude in london, who created smiley bubble faces out of a mixture of helium, soap and vegetable dye. then floated them in the air around the thames and they actually stay together. cool!

if the spiders and i could come to some arrangement and they could agree to leave me alone (not like my recent infestation of red backs in my back yard), then i would love to move in here.

flower girl

as a general rule, i don't post pictures of people i know.
but i couldn't resist this one.



my beautiful friends naomi and zac were married on the weekend and my very cute niece was flower girl. a very inquisitive one at that! she only put the flower basket on her head once during the ceremony - pretty good for a 2 1/2 year old i think!
